At Prana we offer introductory blocks and workshops for the absolute beginner.

Designed to be gentle introductions to the world of yoga - specifically for those who have never practiced before and for those who are not even sure what Yoga is but would like to find out! Our aim is introduce you to a variety of standing and seated postures (asana) all of which will be taught with several variations to make them accessible to every body - on our courses we have the opportunity each week building on what we have learned the week before. Alongside the physical practice we explore the basic principles of breath work (pranayama), relaxation and simple meditation techniques. This will be a great way to build confidence preparing you for a regular weekly class. The environment will be fun, relaxed and free from judgement, with lots of opportunities to ask questions and chat about all things Yoga!
