This course will give an introduction to the ashtanga vinyasa practice. Explaining the basis of the ashtanga practice, breath, bandha and drishti. Continuing into the primary series practice with explanations for each of the poses and encouraging students to remember the series. This is a dynamic practice, however everyone pose can be modified to suit the students needs. By the end of the course you will be familiar with the basics of the ashtanga practice and full set of standing posturesĀ and some seated postures. This course is not just for beginners but for anyone who would like a deeper understanding of the primary series.
