I love sharing the benefits of my practice with so many people.

My first experience of yoga was when pregnant with my daughter 19 years ago. I continued to practice on and off for many years but I really discovered the benefits 6 years ago when I started practicing regularly with Laura McCrimmon. I was amazed by the many health benefits and I was keen in developing skills to deal with the stresses of everyday life.

As a teacher of young people with additional support needs for 19 years, focussing on children with severe and complex needs for 9 of these years, I became very interested in sharing strategies from my own practice to aid pupils to alleviate tension and relieve stress. In 2015, I decided to embark on RYT 200 at Merchant City Yoga, studying with the highly respected June Mitchell and Judi Farrell. I also completed the Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Cayetana Rodenas.

Since successfully completing these courses, I work in the community, sharing my love of yoga with many groups of people - children with autism in a primary school base, adults with additional support needs in a local adult learning centre, teenagers in school groups, youngsters with physical disabilities in after school groups, carers classes for Yogability, adult classes in East Kilbride and, of course, the lovely people here in our Prana community. I really do believe that Yoga is for every body and everybody!

I love sharing the benefits of my practice with so many people. My own practice is based on Vinyasa flow and I am also a huge fan of seasonal yoga. I have a personal practice of pranayama and meditation.

I am constantly taking steps to deepen my practice and further my knowledge by understanding various workshops, additional training and classes.

Jenn teaches special one off classes at the studio. Keep an eye on the events page to come along and practice with Jenn!
