Ruth started practicing yoga 10 years ago and decided to undergo her 200 hours of Hatha Yoga Teacher training with Pamela Young and Liz Young. This was certified by Fitness Scotland and CYQ.
Ruth has since attended many workshops to further expand her knowledge and practice with teachers such as John Scott, Gary Carter, Mark Russell, Jambo Truong, Findlay Wilson, Sarah Hatcher.
Ruth’s initial practice was Ashtanga style but over the years her practice tends towards Yoga flow and Yin yoga.
Yoga has helped Ruth both emotionally and physically.
Physically it has helped build both strength and flexibility and emotionally it has helped her during stressful times and periods of anxiety.
